Thursday Night Pathfinder
The Coral Serpent is a small dragon that lairs and hunts in coastal waters. While possibly the weakest of sea serpents, they still pose a threat to aquatic creatures and humanoids who dwell near the coast. Coral Serpents found near the Western Village have blue and black iridescent scales, short webbed fins with turquoise webbing and shark like yellow teeth. Adult serpents are large in size, and typically lair in underwater caverns.
The existence of sea serpents is common knowledge, and some details have been gathered about the coral serpent. However it was the party’s defeat of one that led to more accurate recording of the monsters abilities. It’s frightful presence will likely work against any creature weaker than itself. It possesses spell resistance and immunity to electricity. And it has a unique breath weapon suitable for underwater use. It emits a fine ruby red ray of electricity that aims true, coursing through water and air alike. Previously it was believed that dragons with line attacks could strafe and hit multiple targets. Against the PCs however it simply lined up shots to hit two or more of the party. The creature also has a fast swim speed, natural reach, and may attack with its mouth, tail, or both.
